For all (comm)
caches, retrieve the code word from the cache location and
submit on the reporting form.
Community caches (comm)
are found at lodges and retailers throughout the north. A Community
cache is a cache with a code word located at the
business/attraction. Often these businesses sponsor the caches
found in the "great outdoors." Please patronize these
businesses as they are a big help in the development of GPS Treasure
Hunting in Ontario (*remember to check the establishments' business
hours before you go). It is a great way for our sponsors to engage
new customers.

A Virtual (VT) cache is one that does not have a traditional
"Rubbermaid bin" at the location. Virtual caches may be located in
museums, attractions, at landmarks, plaques and at the "back" of a
sign. Within the Virtual Cache description and clues you
will discover what word or letter is embedded at the location.
This will be the CODE word needed for your chance to win thousands of
dollars worth of prizes. |
